Hi cousins, I have a question that, hopefully, some of you may have an answer for. I just received from my father's second wife an obituary printed on newsprint in 1893. The paper was folded and basically fell apart when I unfolded it. In addition, my father (Roy Egner) at some point used scotch tape to repair tears. This would have been done many years ago, and needless to say, the tape damaged the paper. It has discolored the paper and where the tape is still attached has made it very brittle. The obit contains a lot of family information going back to 1820 on the Hendry side of the family (my father's maternal parentage) plus an etching of my gggrandfather and I would like to preserve it. Any suggestions on what I can do?? Unfortunately, I haven't been able to locate any additional Egner information, but am still diligently working on it. Thanks for any suggestions, Jean
