    1. Re: [EGNER] Alabama Census with SC connections
    2. Hi, I have Rachel Egner/Eigner 1789 Newberry Co., S.C. - d 1871 Marshall Co., Ms. She married 1816 in S.C. John Wesley Boatner and they moved to Tuscaloosa Co., Al. about 1824. Paula Felder wrote a book on the Boatners and she says that John W. Boatner's father was George Boatner and he was married to Mary "Polly" Lashley. Denny Eller disagrees with her and says that Lewis Boatner married Polly Lashley and Lewis was the father of John W. Boatner. I don't know if there is a connection...these families could have traveled together from S.C. to Al.
