Mrs. Ruby Payne Powell, age 72, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 15, 1992. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church, Eagle Rock, Va. and was the widow of Elden H. Powell, Jr. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Marion L. and Elaine T. Powell, Daleville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Betty P. and Harry L. Wood, Jr., Richmond; Phyllis P. and William E. Williamson, Jr., Hampton; Gerrie P. and Robert E. Minnix, Boones Mill; seven grandchildren; two brothers Arnold S Agnor and Weldon D Agnor, a sister Nancy A Witt. Services will be at Shiloh United Methodist Church 11:00 am Friday January 17, 1992 with Rev. Teresa S Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery.
