hi there people guess the head cheese has spoken about who we are looking for in the egnor family.. I come off of Archibald Egnor 1811-1893 and his third wife Susan Carpenter 1820-1910. They had one Son named Samuel Egnor who married Martha Jane Whitten. They had 14 kids. One of them was Effie M. Egnor 1898-1986 She was the last one too pass away from this family. she married Peter Marshall Adkins 1894-1953. They had 8 childern. one being Ralph Adkins Sr. who married Helen Jean Burgess. These were my parents. I guess the biggest Brick Wall i have on these people is finding the piece of paper that will connect dear old Arch too John Agner of Rockbridge co. Virginia. Once that is done then we go all the way back too the 1700's and Switzerland on this Family. Im currently working on trying too find out some information on Arch's third wife Susan Carpenter.. who parents were Joseph Carpenter and Ann Miller. They were married in 1823 in Monroe Co.
