    3. Jean, Yes please let us know. It would be interesting if indeed the date is that early. According to the list of wills on Egnor/Egners in the County there should be one that died around 1810, he was married in 1808 to Jane Davidson (who later married Thomas Ricketts) and one that whod have died around 1894, the later probably the Mathias born Jan. 1811 to Mathias and Jane. I guess Mathias Jr. must have been a posthumous child. The name Mathias in Cecil County is what has always led us to believe that the line must have came out Lehigh from the Mathias Egner line. We just had no proof. Same with a Mathias showing up in NC/SC. I still believe that Mathias Egner's eldest son Jacob went south, but again no proof. ---Celia :o) ----- Original Message ----- From: Jean Deans <jbdeans@mindspring.com> To: <EGNER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, January 21, 2000 11:26 AM Subject: RE: [EGNER] Egners in Cecil Co, MD > There is a Mathias Egner buried in Elkton Cemetery who died around 1750 (as > I remember).
