Per request, here is the list of the children of William (son of Catherine nee Unknown and Benjamin Egner of Arkansas, who were both born in NC about 1789), as taken from the 1994 Eygner Eagle (Vol. VI, No. 12): William Egner born 8 July 1817 in Henry Co. KY; died 15 April 1894 Salado, AR. All children from his first wife, Sarah Jane Powell, whom he married around 1837. She was born in KY 13 Aug 1820 and died 20 Jan 1873 in AR. He then married Catherine Trammell 5 Apr 1874. Children of Sarah Jane and William: 1) Susan Egner born 1838 married 7 Feb 1858 to William C. DeCamp. They had three children: Carrie DeCamp who married Henry Neill Cullins and had Nellie Cullins who married Walter Searcey and Nita Cullins who married Lucien McSpadden; Edgar DeCamp, and William DeCamp. 2) Benjamin F. Egner, born 6 Aug 1840 KY Apparently died in Civil War 3) Elisha Egner, born 1841 AR Apparently died in Civil War 4) Allen R. Egner, born 1845 AR Apparently died in Civil War 5) Sarah Frances Egner "Fanny" born 6 Aug 1848 in Salado AR; died 15 May 1923 Hot Springs AR. Married 26 Nov 1867 Robert Calvin Pressly Sims. Had 14 Children. 6) William Egner, born 1850 AR. Married 30 Jan 1873 Salina Livingston and had Robert, Maud, Ada, and Cecil Egner, 7) Elizabeth Egner "Lizzie" born 1852 AR married Henry C. Wycough and had Eddy, Hattie, Liddie, Charlie, and Arthur Wycough. 8) Virginia Egner "Jenny" born 1856 AR married Charles M. Engles and had Maggie, Ida, and Iola Engles 9) Emily Egner born 1858 AR. Died 1882. Married James Levi Craig and had Dora Craig (died young) and William Hardin Craig (1882-1955) dentist in Batesville AR, married Nell Weaver 10) Jefferson D.
