Dean and anyone else interested, Sad to say, The Eygner Family Association is no longer in existence. However Roberta is still a wealth of information and it is partly because of her that I am administering this list. She put me in touch with some of the researchers, and some of those researchers have found their way to this list. Roberta has sent me some of her old "Eagles" (the publication of the EFA) and has given me permission to include some of the articles in our mail list from time-to-time. I sent two already, I think, and am long over due in sending the next. Will try to get to that this week. The articles are to serve as a guide only, especially since some of the data has been proven or disproven since the article was written. Since the Arkansas line was mentioned, perhaps that will be our next article. In trying to connect my Egnor line with someone I was in touch with Roberta often, as she had information on many different lines. I was always asking her about one line or another in hopes of connecting mine. That's how how I became so familiar with the Johan Mathias line, the Cecil County, MD line, and the Johannes Aegender line. Even though it turns out the first two aren't my line, I'm still interested in seeing some of their mysteries solved. My co-horts in crime, Carol and Patsy, and I worked hard on those two lines before discovering ours comes from the Aegender/Agner line. Now this list is the closest we've got to a Family Association. This list has more members now, that the Family Association did. So that means more of us researching the name, making connections, helping one another. With some more time, hopefully we can solve some of these mysteries! --Celia Hartmann :o)
