To Orvan Edmondson, Nancy Edmondson Wood, Margaret Olson, or anyone else that can answer my stumbling block question!!!! I have Thomas Edmondson b. abt 1766 wife Clarey (Clarissa), Father; Thomas Edmondson b. 1738 (wife unknown). Children William b. abt 1762, John b. abt. 1764, Thomas b. abt 1766 (mine), Penelope b. abt 1768, Pollard b. ca. 1786, Randolph b. ca 1790. I believed that Thomas b. 1738 was the son of Pollard and Mary Dickinson of Talbot Co. MD., until I found the info on them and their children. It seems they had no children named Thomas. Pollard had 3 brothers, John b. abt 1718, James b. unk, and Samuel b. unk With the names passed on to later generations, it would appear that Thomas (1738) would be the son of John, unless James or Samuel named their children after their brother. I am having difficulty finding anything to show this link, other than speculation. Or, am I chasing the wrong Edmondson? Could anyone out there help me if they have the info that I need?
