Nancy, Thanks for responding. I don't have a map handy, but seem to remember that it''s in the southerly part of the Ozarks. Its been about 20 years since I've been through that area and 30 or so since "Aunt Annie" visited from there. I just feel that if I could solve the mystery of WHO she is and HOW she relates....it would open some doors for me. So far, I have my Edmondson's in Alabama (coming from Tennessee) into Mississippi, and Louisiana. My grandfathers sister Jessie Edmondson and her husband wound up in Arkansas. (Cooper's) I might know more if I could ever find parents for my Philip P. Edmondson Sr. born 1801 in South Carolina according to the 1850 Alabama Census. Do you know who your Richard b. 1805 in SC parents are? Wonder if he could be a brother to my Philip P. b. 1801 SC? I have not been able to turn up many Edmondson's born that time period in SC.
