For Gerry: The Elizabeth Edmondson who m. Daniel Robertson descends from Thomas Edmondson of Essex Co. VA, probably via his son Benjamin. However, I am by no means sure of the exact descent, and I would like to be. Here's what I have. The chain is, I think, provable down to Upton II, who is not provably the sone of Upton I. There are also problems about the wives of Upton II. And, as stated, there is no proof that Upton's daughter Elizabeth is the one who m. Daniel Robertson. Anyway, this gives you a place to look. I have other data on this family, but nothing that will answer these problems. I did not have a second marriage for Elizabeth. I assume that Daniel H. Robertson is her son by her first marriage.
