Dear All: If anyone is curious, Y.C. Edmondson is Young Colville Edmondson, nicknamed Tobe. He is descended from Thomas Edmondson, son of William Edmiston Sr. of Augusta and Washington Cos. VA. After the war, he was condemned to death for bushwhacking, but his mother went to Washington and got Lincoln to pardon him.
