Hello Everyone, This pertains to the line of LT James Edmundson (Rev War) b. 1751 NC d. 1789 NC, and his son Bryant Sr. I need to prove that Wiley was indeed one of the son's of Bryant Edmundson Sr. Did Bryant Sr. have a will? Or anything that would prove Wiley was his son? I have Wiley and his wife Martha on a census, but really need something to tie Wiley into Bryant Sr. I have the Troup County, Georgia and Her People article by FC Johnson III, in which Wiley is indeed listed as a child of Bryant Sr., but I need more proof for my paperwork for my acceptance into DAR. Also, does anyone have a copy of Lt. James Edmundson's will? It is my understanding that he did have one. My information shows that it was recorded in the Clerk Superior Court in Goldsboro, NC and Bryant is listed along with 6 of his brothers and sisters. This is also supposed to have been documented in North Carolina Revolutionary Soldiers, Sailors , Patriots, and Descendants, Vol l page 69. I have yet been able to get a copy of this. Could someone direct me to where I would need to write or call for a copy of James's will, in North Carolina? I have ordered his military records from Washington, but have not received them yet.
