Beverly, Sorry, I can't claim any personal knowledge of these EDMs. If I remember correctly, Mt. Magazine is in the Ozark Mtns & between Fayetteville & Ft. Smith? I would imagine that these individuals would be from the early EDMs of Wash. Co.? My EDM came from Union Co, GA to West Plains, MO, after the Civil War. From there, they moved to Benton Co, AR. They were first at Vaughn, where I think they were related to the Barron family living there. No proof, however. Benton Co. is N of Wash. Co. & in the corner of the state. I have to say that I think we must be desc'd from the same EDM--anyone who'd name a son Hannibal just has to be a relation. My gg-gf was John Quincy Edmondson, the son of Richard EDM b. 1805 SC & Margaret (Barron?) b. 1805 NC/SC. His siblings were: Hamilton W. (Hampton), Napoleon B., George W., Richard, Lavina, & Margaret. See what I mean?
