Naturally, Ths. has always interested me, since his desc's settled the next county over to mine. My earliest ancestor was Richard EDM b. 1805 SC, m. Margaret (Barron?) & in Union Co, GA in 1834. Their son, John Quincy EDM went to West Plains, MO, after the Civil War. He d. at the home of his son, Richard D. EDM, in Benton Co.
