Orvan, Any ideas of the dates or place for the Phillip Edmundson you listed: 3 Phillip Edmundson I am looking for one who would have been in South Carolina in 1801 (child born there - Philip P. Edmondson SC was birthplace according to the 1850 Alabama Census) and later moved to Bedford County Tennessee....still there by the 1830 Census(age 40-50) (but the last name was spelled as Edmison) My Edmondson's never seem to spell their name the same twice! As Bedford County, TN records burned I am really stuck! I know this is on the right track as the land record for Alabama land lists him as being from Bedford County, TN..... Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
