Dear Orvan and other, Can any one please help me? My 8th. great grandparents are THOMAS EDMONDSON and ANNE GREGORY. I come down through their son James b: abt 1671 in Rapahannock Co. VA. I have an abstract of the will of Thomas Edmondson, in this will he mentions another wife, MARY. I have 9 children listed for Thomas Edmondson. The children are James, Thomas, John, Sarah, Ann, Bryan, Joseph, Benjamin and William. Can anyone tell me which children belong to which wife or are they all the children of Anne Gregory. Peggy, Thomas m.1. Anne Gregory and m.2. Mary (possibly Haile). All of the 9 children that you listed were named in his will. Researchers have suggested that James was the product of m.1. Another proven son, Benjamin, wasn't mentioned in the will & may have been from m.1.
