    3. Hi Orvan, Thank you for sending me the information that you have on Jonathan Edmundson. I would love to give you more information, but I really have very little. I haven't been concentrating on that line but have had a few things sort of fall into place unexpectedly. But in any event, this is what I do know at this time: Jonathan Edmondson Birth: Date and Place unknown Death: Between 1835 and 1840 in Columbiana County, Ohio Marriage: 1819 to Phoebe Vale, daughter of John Vale and Deborah Thomas Children of Jonathan Edmondson and Phoebe Vale: 1. Ann Edmondson, born 27 May 1820; married 16 May 1839 Simeon Dyke (this is my line) 2. Mariah Edmondson, born 16 Jan 1822, married William Heacock. 3. Lucy Ann Edmondson, born 24 Apr 1824, married 23 Oct 1845, James Heacock 4. Sarah T. Edmondson, born 3 Sep 1826, married 4 Apr 1850, Israel Cope. 5. Eli J. Edmondson, born 18 Apr 1829, married 25 May 1852, Jane Rutherford. 6. Phoebe Lydia Edmondson, born 22 Apr 1832, died 17 Jan 1851. Phoebe Vale Edmondson was born in Warrington, York County, Pennsylvania, and I have found a book on her family. While I was looking through that book I found a John Edmundson who married Anne Marsh. Since the date of their marriage fit the time frame for my Jonathan's parents and there were several of the York County Quaker families that moved to Columbiana County, Ohio, I took a shot that maybe John Edmundson and Anne Marsh were the parents of my ancestor. That led to the posting of my query to the list yesterday. Sorry I do not have more information to give to you. As I gather more conclusive evidence and information, I will be happy to share with you.
