I am looking for the parents of my ancestor, Jonathan Edmundson, who was in Columbiana County, Ohio, when he married Phoebe Vale in 1819. Both John and Phoebe were Quakers, and Phoebe's family came to Columbiana County, Ohio, from York County, Pennsylvania, with other Quaker families. There also is a Mariah Edmundson in Columbiana County, Ohio, who marries John Vale (Phoebe's half-brother) on 27 Dec 1827. I think it is possible that Mariah is the sister of my ancestor, Jonathan Edmundson.
