    1. [EDM] Trip to Louisiana - New info!!!!!
    2. Ok, I am finally back in Wyoming after a breakdown in Salina Kansas! The town Many, in Sabine Parish was a goldmine of Edmondson info! Found out John Edmondson - he settled in the Belmont community near Many, and married into the Phillips family. A NEW Edmondson sister Catherine! Who also married into the same Phillips family, and later into the Linders. I didn't have time to go thru but 3 years of newpapers.......but it was enough to prove what I suspected! If anyone is near that area and connected to John, it would be worth checking into as G. W. Edmondson had loaned the Sabine Index many "Pictures of the Past"......I only found one....so there are more to be found! I checked 1971, 1970, and 1969. Here's what my line is shaping up as: Descendants of Philip P. Sr. Edmondson Generation No. 1 1. PHILIP P. SR.1 EDMONDSON was born May 04, 1801 in South Carolina, and died October 27, 1892. He married (2) MARTHA A. "LAVINIA" SHOEMAKE (photo) in Mississippi?, daughter of JOHN SHOEMAKE and MARTHA ETHERIDGE. She was born July 20, 1845 in Alabama, and died April 10, 1919 in Clear Creek Methodist Cemetary, Grant Parish, Louisiana. He married (1) ELIZABETH SMITH June 16, 1837 in Mobile County, Alabama. 3. Question: Are you related to the genealogist, Bill Linder, from Miss. to Washington? Bill died of a heart attack last week or so.
