    3. Chan- Your reference to Edm-s in Indiana caught my eye. I don't see Indiana mentioned much as a location of Edm- ancestors. My g-g-gf was William "Billy" Edmisten born in Hancock co. Indiana. Not sure yet of date, parents, or spouse. I figure he was probably born between 1810 and 1820, roughly. He traveled to Missouri and eventually Thurman, Iowa, where he died, date unknown. I have more information regarding his 6 children (Rachel, William Alexander, James Wesley, Catherine, Susan, and George Washington-my g-grandfather). The sons settled in Nebraska and South Dakota. I will be traveling to Iowa and Nebraska in a few days to do more research. Do you have any information about Indiana Edm-s that might help me? Carol Edmisten PS/ sorry not to be the cousin who's a proven descendent of John the Quaker! I hope you find him/her(?) ----- Original Message ----- From: CEdmondson <edmoski@airmail.net> To: <EDMONDSON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, July 04, 2000 5:53 PM Subject: [EDM] Research with DNA > Somebody out there is probably a cousin of mine, but we don't know it. 3. Carol, If I am not mistaken, Dave's (the editor of the EFAB?) family, William and Delilah (Holt) Edmondson were from Clay Co., IN. Moved there from Tennessee, I believe. Knoxville area. I've seen some about the IN Edmondsons in the EFAB. Maybe Chan should ask Dave or Orvan about his Charles?
