If this was Cullen Edmondson and he had a son named Henry, then this could be Earlene Edmondson Gardner's lost GGGGrandfather. All the dates fit. Please write us anything you have on this Cullen family. All the family said they came from over toward Augusta. Thank you so much. 3. Hi Chris, The 1830 Wash. Co, GA census is online at RootsWeb/US GenWeb. There is an index that will give you the page & line of the census. I made a couple of notes on the family of Cullen Ameson & wife, who would have been b. 1790/90. They had 10 in their hh: 1 f & 1 m (-10), 2 f's (5/10), 1m (10/15), 1m (15/20) & 1 m 20/30. Obviously, I omitted 1 individual. If this was the Cullen EDM, son of Lt. James & Penelope EDM of Dobbs Co, NC, he would have m. Margaret Cannon, who was a widow with ch. MOORINGS PAST & PRESENT by Isabelle R. Algee says that James' father was a John EDM, who m. Mary Cullen, but shows no proof. Cullen had only the one dau, Eliza Ann (1814-1899), who m. Matthew G. Jackson. Margaret & Cullen (17 July 1775-14 June 1836) m. @1810, according to Algee. Margaret Cannon was the dau of James Cannon of Beaufort & Dobbs Co, NC. She m.1. Henry Mooring (1767-1806), son of Wm. & Priscilla EDM Mooring. Priscilla was the sister to John EDM, who m. Mary Cullen. (I hope everyone is sufficiently confused by now.) Margaret & Henry Mooring had John b. 1794, Mary b. 1796, James b. 1796/1801, Daughter, Timothy C. b. 1801, Wyatt M. b. 1805, & Henry? Mooring, according to the Algee book. 3. Hello Chris Gardner and others Chris contacted me a few years back and she was looking for Henry Alexander Edmondson who was located in the Cedar Town area, just west of Atlanta and a little north. I had written his name in my mapbook prior to Chris contacting me, the information must have been in one of the EFABs, but I had not documented it. Good luck Orvan Edmonson
