A few years back, my husband and I were in Abingdon, Va. which is the county seat of Washington County Va. You may be able to find some more information on the Edmondsons of that area. The person in charge was interested since our name was Edmondson. Don't know if this will help. Abingdon is 15 or 20 miles from Bristol,Va.-Tenn.
