I found this tonight....while looking for my Philip Edmondson b. 1801 We have a land record of the above Philip in Alabama...where it says Philip Edmonson of Bedford County, Tennessee.(1820's) And then a reseacher in TN, did a look up on the 1835 Tennessee Census: Bedford Co, TN 1830 census, page 39 Phillip EDMISON 0011201-00001001 Males under 5- 0 Males 5-10 0 Males 10-15 1 Males 15-20 1 Males 20-30 2 Males 30-40 0 Males 40-50 1 Females under 5 0 Females 5-10 0 Females 10-15 0 Females 15-20 0 Females 20-30 1 Females 30-40 0 Females 40-50 0 Females 50-60 1 I have always suspected this was Philip's father.......now tonight I found this: 1840 EDMUNDSON PHILLIP Bedford County TN 087 No Township Listed Federal Population Schedule TN 1840 Federal Census Index TNS4a813654 1840 EDMUNDSON RICHARD Bedford County TN 091 No Township Listed Federal Population Schedule TN 1840 Federal Census Index TNS4a813656 Very likely Richard is related.......brother, uncle...father...something...they are the ONLY EDMxxxxxx....spellings at all in Bedford County, TN!!!!!! Is anyone related to this Richard from Bedford County, TN....this may be my best lead to my Philip's (b.1801) parents. Or is anyone familiar with this line? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
