Well, no one has ever asked me to supply my mother's maiden name for identification. But they ALWAYS ask me for my social security number. How's that for potential social security fraud?? And by the way, supplying a zip code or a town is just as helpful!! :) And people who live overseas sometimes do not know where to look for a state.
