Hi all! Received some new info from Bedford County, Tennesse this weekend. If you will remember from my other posts, I am looking for the parents of Philip Edmondson/Edmonson/Edmundson who bought land in Alabama - and the land record read - Philip Edmonson of BEDFORD COUNTY, TENNESSE. In 1830 and 1840, only 2 Edmundsons appear - Philip (possibly the father of my Philip) and a Richard Edmundson. (One spelling is also Edmison in the 1830) Now for the new info: ALL in Bedford County Edmonson Cemetery, located near Singleton, TN ------------------------------------------------------- Edmonson, James W., 14 JUL 1842, 03 JUN 1875 Susan, wife of Thomas Terry, <no date listed>, 24 OCT 1832, Aged 26 years Several field stones with no inscriptions (as she would have been born in 1806 - a likely candidate for the sister of my Philip b. 1801) Cannnot find anything on Thomas Terry NEXT: Word Cemetery - about one mile north of Pleasant Grove, TN ------------------------------------------------------- S.
