I was born an Edmondson. My brother had only girls, one uncle had no children and the other had three girls, so my Edmondson male line has died out. One of my cousins has a son, however, who is using the Edmondson name. My earliest known Edmondson is John (1635-1697) who immigrated to Talbot Co. MD. His 1st wife, Sarah Parker, was my ancestor. Until they got to Ohio, they were Quaker. In spite of being Quaker, Peter Edmondson is in the DAR's Patriot List. I am 10 generations removed from John Edmondson. and the generations between have lived in MD (Talbot and Dorchester Co), DE (Kent Co), OH (Hamilton, Montgomery, Darke and Clark) - and my father and his brothers were in IN, NJ and WA. What do I want to learn? Where in England/Ireland/Scotland did John come from and did any of his siblings come to America? Margaret
