My only known Edmondson is Sallie Gilliam Edmondson. Born in Tenn. on Feb. 19, 1853. She married a Samuel B. Hughes on Feb. 18, 1874 in Gadsden Ala. She died in Gadsden Ala. on Nov. 23, 1921 and is burried in Gadsden Ala. in the Edmondson plot in the Hughes/Moragne cem. Sallie and Samuel had four children, James, Mack M., William Edmondson, my greatgrandfather and Joseph Samuel Hughes. Sallie's father was supposed to be a doctor in the Gadsden area.
