IS THE ONE WHO MOVED TO PEND. DIST., SC, WITH SONS, JUST BEFORE 1800. HE MENTIONED IN ONE OF HIS DEED/WILL COMBINATIONS, THAT HIS SON JOHN WAS IN CHS. CITY CO. & THERE ARE A COUPLE OF BENJ.'S THERE ALSO, WHO ARE UNACCT'D FOR. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT ONE OF THS/FRED.'S SONS NAMED A SON AFT PHILLIP PARR. PHILLIP PARR M. A WIDOW & AS FAR AS I KNOW, LEFT NO HRS. RESEARCHER TERRY THOMPSON BELIEVES THAT EDMUND EDM & JANE HOWERTON, WHO HAD A SON NAMED PHILIP, WAS THE SON OF THE ABOVE JOHN & CATHERINE.
