My wife is the Edmundson descendant. Her earliest known ancestor is Thomas Edmundson (b. ca 1540 in England; d. April 17, 1590 at Crosby Garrett Parish, Little Musgrave, Westmoreland Shire, England). He was the 10th great grandfather of my wife, Anita. This is the same line in which William Edmundson, the Irish Quaker, is one of the most well-known members. He was Anita's 8th great grandfather. I have a lot of information on this line, but not all that many proofs since I have gotten so much of it from other genealogies prepared by other descendants. We do have a copy of the second printing of William Edmundson's Journal, recording his conversion and missionary trips from Ireland to the English Colonies, two in the company of George Fox. We actually bought two of them and had them both restored by a book restorer. We gave one to my father-in-law, Lee Edmundson Bains.
