In the late 1830s, how many single families moved from Ohio to City of St Louis? I know that researchers are very green if they don't consider twenty name before and after their target name. I haven't located my John F. EDMONDSON in Ohio, 1835, so I don't know the names of neighbors/relatives. So after the 1837/38 City Directory of St Louis, MO, my next source is the 1840 U.S. census of Fourth Ward, p.146. I wish I knew a bit more about which Edmondsons are involved and where the files came from. Are they Rootsweb files? Or what? I'm not sure whether to ask for the files or not. But I am gluttonous about Edmondson data. Howard V. >These messages with attachments are failures because Outlook Express says >they are unsafe. I cannot receive any. >Lois Strickland >[email protected] RootsWeb does not send out digests with attachments. They also do not send out viruses or unsafe information. You might want to check your Outlook Express settings. I do not know Outlook Express, but I will venture to guess you have an option as to whether you see the message "inline" or whether the individual messages within the digest are shown individually as attachments. RootsWeb's Help pages will probably help you. See http://helpdesk.rootsweb.com/help/email.html If you cannot find a way to read the digests, you might want to consider subscribing to the -L list to get individual messages instead of getting them in the -D digest list.
