Joyce Welch, This may or may not be of help. Joseph Edmondson, son of Caleb Edmondson Jr and wife Margaret had at least five children. The lived in Anderson Co., SC. I do not have a birth date for Joseph but do have information that he married twice. First to Elizabeth Austin and second to Elizabeth Ragsdale. Joseph and Elizabeth Ragsdale Edmondson died in Coweta Co., GA.
