Gerry, I have been told that my Edmondsons come from Exxex County, Virginia back in the 1600 and 1700's. They moved to Georgia in the late 1700's. I have them in Putnam County, Georgia at 1800. I found we were discussing some things over and over, and I was forgetting what was said, when and where. The site is intended for primary sources only, sometimes it is easy to lose track of these. Nancy, Tow or three people did give me Jo Lee's address and she has responded to me. What I am trying to find out is the right Benjamin, the father of Elizabeth/Betsey EDM. Susan Jones back on Oct 19,2002 thought it was Benjamin born in 1770. However; several year ago someone wrote a list of Benjamin's 12 children (including Betsey) and they were all born between 1765 and 1790. So it couldn't be that one. Yes, Jo Lee does have a nice sight and 5 or 6 yeas ago she helped me a lot. After my grgr grandfather died , mygrgr grandmother, Betsey, married Jo Lee's gr gr grandfather.
