Nathaniel Lovell Edgeworth DID live on/around Lynch Creek in Chesterfield Co., SC in/before 1844. His wife Naomi Evans Edgeworth died Jan. 10, 1845 as recorded by Rev. Aaron Kngiht in his journal. He is still on the 1850 Chesterfield Co., SC census but moves to Tuscaloosa before 1860. He died about 1872 in Tuscaloosa and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery there. As to "LATE", maybe they meant that he had moved and/or that he "had" owned the property but had sold it. First time I've run across this record. Has to be the same Nathaniel, the others have different second names plus would be two young to be involved.
