I've been told that it traces back to Maria Edgeworth (the author) but I have no proof. I would love to hear from any long lost relatives or anyone who has information to share with me. Here's what I know: My great-great-grandmother was Theressa Emaline Edgeworth(1849-1929, buried in Kershaw, SC). She married William Henry Sowell (1841-1923). Their children: Julia A., Emma LaBarge (my great-grandmother), Charlie C., Lou J., Authur J., William E., Henry W., N. R. I read somewhere that she was the daughter of William K.
