Somewhere there is a Richard C Edgeworth (publican) in Hampshire who was born in Bibury, he had a son Richard H Edgeworth whom I believe became a Publican in Bristol. BUT the is also a Richard Edgeworth born around the same time as Richard C in Bristol but he was a labourer and moved to Middlesex. I believe Richard C Edgeworth of Bibury was an illigitemate son of Elizabeth Edgeworth who eventually became Elizabeth Smith. Does this sound familiar to you?
