Hi Fran, I've done quite a lot since we last corresponded 3 years ago. I'll pull together my Bristol EDGEWORTHs & put the info on the list in a week or 2. I don't think my Bristol EDGEWORTHs are directly linked to the Bibury ones but I wanted to look at them for 2 reasons: 1. There are a lot of EDGEWORTHs in Bibury in the 1851 census & I wanted to check the PRs to see that there wasn't a Thomas born ~1780 who corresponded to mine. I know it's difficult to prove a negative but .... 2. Our daughter is an archivist at Gloucester RO & as we were visiting her it seemed like a good use of our time! I think it's interesting that if you do a search for EDGEWORTH/EDGWORTHs in the 1851 census for Glos/Bristol/Somerset/Wilts the majority are in SE Glos. [I've used Gordon Beavington's transcript - http://www.mycensuses.com/ ] I think there's a case for an area one name study to see if there's a medieval connection with Edgeworth near Cirencester. Come to think of it is anyone doing, or thinking of doing, an EDGEWORTH one name study? I know there's quite a lot available on the Irish end from County Longford.
