James born in 1743 married Mary Seate (or Seats unsure spelling) on 14.01.1769. They had 9 children two of which were James (christened 23.09.1780) and Thomas 29.06.1773. James married Hannah Locke Showell (then lived in Brimpsfield) on 27th May 1805 and one of their children was William (christened on 24.12.1811)Thomas married Ann Buckle (though i cant find certificate and stayed in Bibury)they had numerous children of which 2 were William (christened 20th March 1808) and Martha (christened 31.12.1813). Thomas's son William(10.03.1808)is your GG father and he married Charlotte Smith. James's son William married Thomas's daughter Martha. I hope this clarifies this for you. There was confusion for a while as a published book had the details incorrect. To clarify this I decided to get the marriage certificates.
