My name is Charles Eaton. I am working on my family history and am asking for help from anyone who may have information on my ancestors. I am looking for a David Eaton b.1804 in (I believe York county, PA.)and died in 1879 in Wood county, West Virginia. He married a Hannah Mantel b. unknown. They moved from PA to Monroe county, Ohio where several of their children were born. They moved to Wood County.., West Virginia in 1856 and lived there until they died. They are both buried in the Lott Cemetery off California Ridge Road in southern Wood County. Their children are George W. m. Elizabeth Lawrence, Isaac, John Young m. 1.Rhue Ann Hensel m. 2.Mary Ellen Canary, Maranda m. 1.John Myers m. 2.John Fisher, William T. m. Rebecca Harmon, Susanna m. Benjamin Amos, Amos Jones m. Harriett Elizabeth Smith, Franklin Pierce m. 1.Phobe A. Beckett m. 2.Mary Catherine Beckett, Elihu Tipton m. Mary E. Melrose, Angeline. I have been told that David's father's name was also David and that he had married a Rachel West who was the daughter of George and Pracilla West. If anyone out there has any information I would like to hear from you. I would be willing to share all the info. that I have. I have all of my direct line from David to the present and a lot of the other descendants.
