Hi Charles, and Everyone, I am looking for EATON in Cumberland County PA, right next door to York, where Charles is looking (see message below). I have an ancestor, Jane EATON, who married Joseph HUNTER at the Centre Presbyterian Church in Centre, Cumberland Co. PA in 1803. Jane and Joseph moved to Miami valley, OH and I have found no indication that any of the EATON family went that direction. In the 1790 PA census, there are 3 David's. I can't make columns on email, but the information will be in the same order for each one. In 1800 the Joseph EATON family is living next to the Joseph MAXWELL family in Toboyne Twp, Cumberland County. This is where I want EATONs to be, but the ages are wrong for the family members - it looks to be a young family - parents in their 20's - possibly older husband - two young sons. There are 3 David EATON's: one each in Lancaster, York, and Chester. Sorry, I didn't get to the actual record for them. Does anyone have anything to add?
