Hi, I'm new to this mailing list. I am a descendent of Thomas Browne (1777-1828) and Nancy Oliver (1793-1880) Eaton. Thomas and Nancy appear to have married in Beaver Co., PA, before 1814. In 1818 they floated down the Ohio R. to Lawrence Co., OH, (extreme southern tip of OH) near Burlington. They purchased land in 1820 in Union Township 2 miles up Symmes Creek north of Chesapeake. Some of my family still live on that land. There are many descendents and I would be happy to share information. Common names are John Pinketham, William Oliver, Robert, Margaret, Callie, Clara, Emma, and Elizabeth. I am just beginning to search for information about Thomas Eaton and Nancy Oliver including their ancestors. Any clues, hints and info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! John S.
