Hello to Eaton researchers, Family has searched for long time for parents of Dyerdamy EATON, b.abt 1765. According to her tombstone, she was "a native of Williamstown,MA." She was married October 1, 1788 to Nathaniel Holdridge, in New Ashford twp, Berkshire County, MA. Dyerdamy and Nathaniel then moved to Otsego County, NY, and then to Chautauqua County, NY by 1809. We think they owned land there that was part of the Holland Purchase. The son of Dyerdamy EATON Holdridge was Henry Holdridge. When he and his wife (Mahala Hoswell) and family moved in the early 1840's to Hillsdale County, Michigan, Dyerdamy and Nathaniel moved with them. It is in West Reading Cemetary, Reading twp., Hillsdale County, MI, that Nathaniel and Dyerdamy EATON Holdridge are buried. Dyerdamy died on November 14, 1845.
