The Archives at Caterbury Cathedral, showing film of the original vicar's records for St. Mary Virgin in Dover, Kent, England confirm that an Edward RANGER married a Joyce EATON at St. Mary Virgin Church on August 16, 1632. Thus far the following three children of Edward and Joyce (Eaton) RANGER have been confirmed. They are: Nicholas (bp 14 Dec 1634), Thomas (bp 31 Dec 1637) and Peter (bp Jun 1644). I am trying to confirm the parents of this Joyce EATON. Many sources have wrongly associated her father as William EATON, however, those dates would have made her over seventy years of age at son Peter's birth. Doesn't fit!
