Jonas and William Eaton Looking for information about William b 1604 and Jonas b 1618 Staples Kent England. They were the sons of Peter Eaton b 1580 married Elizabeth Patterson 28 Jan 1602/03 at Dover England. Jonas and William came to the Colonies from England in 1637 on the ship Hercules. Jonas was listed as a servant to William. There are some who would argue that Jonas was William's son and not Peters. Jonas married Grace in 1642 and lived in Watertown Mass first then Reading. Jonas died Reading 1673/74. The two most puzzling things are who was Grace, Jonas's wife and are Jonas and William brothers.
