12/19/2008      Fairborn Daily Herald   Robert L. ‘Bob’ Eldridge Robert L. “Bob” Eldridge, Sr., age 57 of Fairborn, passed away Wednesday December 17, 2008 in his residence. He was born March 14, 1951 in Xenia, the son of the late Joe and Marie (Ball) Eldridge. Bob was self employed as a carpenter and a member of Living Water Apostolic Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Ann in 1997; and two brothers, Andrew and Charles Eldridge. He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Kristy; four sons, Joe Eldridge of Fairborn, Anthony Godsey and wife Pam of Xenia, Robert L. Eldridge, Jr. of Fairborn, Andrew Eldridge of Fairborn; three grandchildren, Dalton, Mariah, Madison; a brother, Herschel Eldridge of Tennessee; two sisters, Judy Eldridge of Fairborn, Loraine Justice of Fairborn; and three step-children, Paige, Nikkie, and Michael Deer. The family will receive friends on Sunday December 21, 2008 from 2 until 4 p.m. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Road, Fairborn, where a funeral service will be held on Monday December 22, 2008 at 11 a.m., Pastor Randall Penrod officiating. Burial will follow in the Byron Cemetery.
