WAGERS, Stanley T. 88, of Middletown, died Friday, December 19, 2008, at Garden Manor Retirement Village. He was born in Irvine, Kentucky on October 10, 1920 to parents Beverly T. and Bessie (Ball) Wagers. Mr. Wagers served his country in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was a Pearl Harbor Survivor. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 3809, a Kentucky Colonel, woodworker and bass fisherman. He worked as a pattern maker for General Motors. He also worked as a watch maker and repairman for Rogers Jewelers. Mr. Wagers is survived by his wife, Cyrena (Guido) Wagers; six children, Susan A. (Gary) Grimm, Toni L. Johnson, Tina M. (Herbert) Calem, Thomas A. Wagers, Traci A. (Michael) Dick and Tammi E. (Allan) Morgan, niece, Carolyn Gould; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ivory Brewer; an infant sister, Nina Ruth; and daughter-in-law, Beverly S. Wagers. Funeral Services will be Mon! day, December 22, 2008 at 11:00 AM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, with Reverend Jim Anderson officiating.
