HELTON, Burley J. age 82 of Hamilton passed away at Sunrise Assisted Living of Hamilton on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 2:59 PM. He was born in Hyden, Kentucky on September 28, 1926 the son of Burley and Alma (Lewis) Helton. Burley was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps with the 155th Airborne Division, fighting in World War II. He was employed as a tool and die maker at Fisher Body for 35 years. On September 25, 1948 in Hamilton, he married Ruby E. Feltner, and she preceded him in death in 1988. He is survived by two sons, Dennis Helton and Gregory (Charlene) Helton; a daughter, Victoria Helton; a sister, Miranda Maher; six grandchildren, Branden, Chris, Dennis Jr., Joesue, and Davon; and five great-grandchildren, with one on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, Burley Helton and Alma Baker; and four sisters, Alene Lake, Nellie Boyd, Rita Helton, and Willajean Powers. Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on S! aturday, December 6, 2008 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
