SALYER Rev. Raymond L. Salyer, born November 22, 1944, passed away December 13, 2008 at his home. Preceded in death by his father Willie J. Salyer. Survived by his mother, Louise Salyer; wife, Lillian Salyer; children, Valarie (John) Kesel and Kimberly (Eric) King; grandchildren, Jessica and Justin Pettis, Mikayla and Kyle Kesel; step-grandchildren, Brittany and Brandon King; sister, Mary (Joe) Smith; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Ordained licensed minister of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Jesus Christ Inc., served as the National Home Missions Director, the District Home and Foreign Missions Director and was an Evangelist traveling over the United States, Brazil and Philippine Islands and a longtime member of the Apostolic Church of Truth. Attended the ABI Bible Institute College and was a teacher at the Matta College. Retired from The Ohio State University as a Computer Operations Manager/KRC. Ray was an associate of Capitol Support Services. Friends may visit on! Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at THE SPENCE-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 2697 Columbus St., Grove City.
