NEWSOME, Ella Formerly of Sugarcreek Township, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born March 3, 1928 in Letcher County, Kentucky to Isaac Rose and Victoria Craft. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Newsome, and great-granddaughter, Ciara Newsome. She is survived by son, Bill and daughter-in-law Patty Newsome, of Mechanicsville, VA; daughter, Sue Walton of South Lyon, Michigan; daughter, Brenda and son-in-law, Harold Lewis, of Beavercreek, OH; and son, Roger and daughter-in-law Jeanne Newsome of Wilmington, OH; grandchildren, Clayton Newsome, Linda Radenheimer, Tracy Feliks, Jason and Todd Lewis, Joshua and Laura Newsome; great-grandchildren, Zachary Marshall, Emily and Jacob Radenheimer, Justin Newsome, Connor and Collin Feliks, Ryley Newsome, Jordan and Anna Lewis, Isabelle and Braden Lewis. She also leaves behind good friends, for more than 50 years, Lois and Bo Cantor of Beavercreek. Ella was retired from General Motors, ! Inland Division. She enjoyed homemaking (quilting and sewing) and gardening. She was an excellent cook and was well known for her Italian Cream Cake and homemade candies. She will be greatly missed. Her family will receive friends on Friday, Dec. 26, 2008 at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008 at 10:00 AM.
