    1. [EASTERNKENTUCKY] FANNIN; WORKMAN; married second ?
    2. THANK YOU to all who responded to my post earlier this week. Really, I've been on this search over thirty years. I have most of the easy accessible data related to this person. Here are the facts that I consider reliable: REBECCA FANNIN (sometimes FANNON) was born in 1850, daughter of Silas and Mary ("Polly") (FERGUSON) FANNIN. The family never held title to the land on which they lived 1850 through 1880. By census reports 1850 through 1880 it appears they lived near Gragston Creek, Butler District, Wayne County, WV. Other records indicate they had strong ties with the Fannins of Eastern Kentucky, but no documentation to immediate family (Silas). Wayne County Marriage Record shows 8 August 1868, Rebecca (Fannon spelling), age 18 married Reece Workman, age 18, she d/o "Silas M. Fannon;" he s/o M. & E. Workman. Marriage performed by H. Smith. She divorced in absence of Reece Workman in 1877 in Wayne County, WV. Family told the Workmans that she "remarried and moved away." Siblings of Rebecca: John settled in Johnson County; Thomas settled in Ashland, Boyd County; and Celistia married A. J. Daniels and lived in Catlettsburg, KY. I think it may be logical that Rebecca and her second husband relocated to Kentucky. It has been a difficult, if not impossible, brick wall to get further information on Rebecca. I have never been fortunate enough to go to Frankfort, and I don't have some history books and other published references. If anyone reading this, has information about Rebecca in Kentucky, please post or email it to me. Thanks, Ralph ____________________________________________________________ Love Graphic Design?
