CALLAHAN, Bettina age 75 of Somerville, OH. died Fri. Dec. 12, 2008. She was born in Wooton, KY on April 2, 1933 to Lawrence and Kate (Melton) Turner. She was a housewife most of her life and an avid gardener and quilter. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Callahan in 2004 and her parents. She was a member of the Church of Christ in West Elkton, OH. She was a loving mother and grandmother and was very dedicated to her family. She is survived by 2 sons, Geary (Susan) Callahan, and Terry (Kathy) Callahan, all of Middletown, OH., 3 grandchildren, Michael (Charly), Andrea, and April and 1 step grandson, Jesse, 4 sisters, Patricia Shepherd, Howell, MI, Bernice Makawaki, Cleta Nofziger and Carol Girkins, all of Toledo, OH. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tues. Dec. 16, 2008 at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home in Gratis, OH. with Pastor Chuck Cotton and assisted by Mr. Michael Callahan. Burial will be in Fairmound Cemetery, West Elkton, OH. Friends may call at t! he funeral home on Tues. from 12:30 until 2:00 P.M.
